» in space, everybody can hear you scream

You've reached Lance, the Paladin of the Blue Lion. It breaks my heart to tell you that I'm unavailable to take your call right now, but if you leave me a message, I'll get right back to you.

accurate descriptionaccusation makes Pidge all but squeak, cheeks burning all over again and she has to wipe both hands over her face, knocking her glasses completely askew. This is so confusing, and really Pidge just needs a few seconds to sort this all out properly. So she takes a breath, still hiding her face behind her hands, and makes Attempt Number One as she starts to pace a bit in front of the bed.]
So-- Ugh, so-- I like Lance and Hunk. And Hunk likes me and Lance. And Lance kissed me but is flailing about Hunk liking boys, soooo... He likes me and Hunk?
[She doesn't even try to peek through her hands to look at them. It feels too embarrassing.] Did I miss anything?

[He has that face. The one he has when he's putting together a complex design or working through a problem back on Voltron. He's looking upward while he talks out loud, fingers spinning in the air while he speaks.]
So I thought Lance liked Pidge and didn't like me after all, when really he likes both of us.
Lance thought I liked someone else when really I like both of you.
And then Pidge knew Lance liked her but she also liked me so she didn't know what to do with either of us.
[Man, he could really use a white board right now.]
Well, it's kinda like you have to convert an engine to run on more than one fuel source, right? You just modify the engine so it's input is set for both, say, fossil fuel and battery power.
So like. Wouldn't it be easier if instead of leaving someone out we just all ... date each other?

So they all like each other. Cool. No, not cool at all. How long has each of them felt this way toward the other? Lance can't remember when he stopped looking at Pidge as a crewmate, a teammate, and a friend and started looking at her as all that and something more. His crush on Hunk, however, that he remembers. He rooms with a big huggable guy for a year or two, sees him in all states of undress, knows every one of his stomach weaknesses, Lance can't forget the day Hunk smiled at one of his dumb jokes and how his heart skipped a beat.
But in the end, they're three people and Lance has no clue how any of this works except that one of them is going to be left out. Considering that it's Pidge and Hunk, two highly intelligent people, and he's the dumb one, Lance is preparing himself for the incoming rejection.
Except he should have been preparing himself to answer Hunk because all that falls out of his mouth is:]
¿Qué?
[Excuse your best bud, Hunk. He's forgotten how to speak English in the face of your extremely out of left field question.]

So she nods, slow and thoughtful, but wholly agreeing with the sentiment. She even slows her pacing to a halt, facing both boys but with her eyes locked to a spot on the wall. And she's also really glad that it's Hunk saying it and not her, because she's sure it somehow wouldn't have come out of her mouth right.
Plus that engine modification metaphor is spot on.]
..Matt told me that poly-amorous relationships aren't all that uncommon across the universe. And I, uh. [Here she finally looks toward Hunk, then Lance, pressing her lips in a line to brace herself for what she's going to say.] I.. I don't wanna date only one of you anyway.
So I'm game if you guys are.
